  • How much do your shirts cost?
    Most shirt orders are unique, so the price can change from one order to another. Typically, the price depends on a variety of factors, such as what type of shirt or garment you want, how many you are ordering, which colors you want used, and the type of graphic is being transferred. At SignScreen of Flint, we have a wide selection of products and applications that you can choose from, so our prices vary
  • Is there a minimum order?
    We require a 12-piece minimum for the use of our screen printing applications. The minimum for embroidery varies with the item being embroidered. Do you have a particularly large order that you need completed? If so, you can count on us. However large of a quantity you need, we can do the job! You can benefit from a considerable savings by buying in bulk, as we provide discounts for orders of larger quantities.
  • How long will it take for my shirts to be ready?
    After the artwork is approved, it typically takes 10 days for shirt orders to be ready. Certain promotional products may have a turnaround time of 2 to 3 weeks. Signs and banners can be completed in a shorter time-frame—3 to 4 days. We take great pride in our ability to process each order in a timely manner. In fact, we are often able to have orders ready earlier than the expected deadline. If you are on a particularly tight schedule, ask us about our rush orders. It may be possible to get the job done within just 24 to 48 hours!
  • If I already have my own shirts, will you screen print on them or embroider them?"
    Absolutely! We would be happy to provide you with print and embroidery services, even if you supply your own shirts or other garments. Your garments, however, must meet our basic requirements. They have to be new, and they have to be made of the same material. If they are not made of the same material, we must at least be able to print on them using the same ink types and printing methods. When making this determination, we consider factors such as fabrics, colors, and print sizes. You are also required to comply with our regular order quantity minimums. Are you unable to meet the minimum for a unique item that is not in our inventory? If so, let us know! We might be able to work something out with you.
  • Will I need to pay setup fees or screen print charges?
    Screen printing requires a screen for each color in the shirt's or garment's design. Because we keep your screens after your order is finished, any reorders you submit in the future will not require a setup fee. The fee for each screen is typically $35. If you have an especially large order, it may be possible to get your setup fee waived. Ask us about our setup fees and our promotional products!
  • Do you charge extra for designing the logo or doing the artwork?
    This depends on your specific order. Most of the time, the logo design / artwork is included as part of the job and there is no additional charge. However, there may be an added cost if the design work is more extensive. If that is the case, we will let you know the cost before any work is performed. This type of work includes custom logos, concepts, designs, layouts, and re-creation of existing artwork. We only perform more extensive artwork or design work after a $60 deposit is paid. (The deposit will be applied to your overall balance.) Until the deposit is paid, no proofs or artwork can be emailed or removed from our premises.
  • What if I want to use my own design?
    If you have your own design, you are more than welcome to bring it to us for screen printing. However, you must provide us with a file that is "print-ready," meaning that it is one of these formats: .AI, .EPS, .JPEG, .PDF, or .PSD. Your file will not be considered "print-ready" if it includes JPEGS or bitmaps that are in low resolution, or if it is in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Publisher formats. Please be aware that we do not provide a 100% guarantee of a perfect color match. This is due to the fact that colors appear differently on different monitors. You may be able to get a close match by providing us with a PMS color to use. If you do that, we make every effort to match the color to the best of our abilities!
  • Do you work on orders that include multiple shirt sizes, colors, and styles? And do all the shirts have to use the same ink colors? "
    You are free to mix and match when it comes to the sizes, color, and styles of your shirts that are part of your order. For embroidery work, we do not charge any extra fees for switching the thread color. For printing orders, however, each ink color change costs $10 per screen.
  • Can I exchange my printed shirts or garments if they don't fit?
    We do not allow exchanges for custom orders that were already completed. This is due to the fact that we have created your order to match all of your specific preferences. Considering our no-exchange policy, it is best for you to come see our samples in person. You can even try on our shirts or other garments in order to tell if a certain size is appropriate for your needs. Do you need to have your group try on some samples? Not a problem! We'll let you take some samples with you as long as you provide with a deposit.
  • Do you perform rush orders?
    Yes. If you need your print or embroidery order completed on a tight deadline, we can provide you with a much faster turnaround time, when a rush order fee is paid. Depending on the quantity of your order and our production load, we may be able to have your order ready for pick-up in just one day, or even that very same day. (Same-day orders must be submitted before 10 a.m.) For the rush order fee, we will charge you a percentage of the total cost of your order. The standard turnaround time will be used to determine this percentage.
  • What if I need a custom size or shape that I don't see on the website?
    We manufacture a wide variety of custom sized and shaped signs. If you do not see what you are looking for, please reach out and we can assist with a custom quote. 810-239-1100
  • Do the signs come with a frame, stake, post or hardware?"
    Real estate signs, and most other signs do not include the mounting hardware. The frames, posts, stake are all sold separately.
  • Will my printed product look exactdly like the proof I approved?
    Some colors may vary slightly from proof to printed product. Most of our customers will be viewing their proofs on a standard home computer or even cell phone. Variance in phone or computer graphics can cause some colors to appear brighter or more saturated than the final printed sign.   • Which color mode should I use? RGB or CMYK?
    Your document should be created in CMYK mode so that the colors that you see on the screen most closely match the final printed product. If you create your document in RGB, the colors in your printed product may vary slightly. Many of the bright values produced by your monitor cannot be reproduced in print. CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) are the colors used in the printing process, whereas RGB (Red, Green and Blue) are the colors used by screen displays such as your monitor. Please note that JPEG files are almost always in RGB.
  • Can I have my order shipped to me?
    If UPS or USPS delivers to your area, we can ship your order to you. All you have to do is give us your shipping address. Once you do that, we'll include the estimate for your shipping in your overall quote. ​
  • When will I get my order?
    Stock orders ship 24-48 business hours after it's processed. Your custom printed orders will ship no later than 6 business days of final order receipt, payment if applicable, and your final art approval. We will of course strive to ship much sooner, and usually do. Note: during the peak season (March - June), please allow for a few extra business days.
  • How can I track my order?
    You will receive email notifications with the status of your order throughout the production process. The emails begin when the order is processed and continue until the order is shipped.
  • Which credits cards can I use for payment?
    When paying for your order with SignScreen of Flint, you can use any major credit card, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept debit cards, Check and Cash. ​
